Locally Bypassing Yottaa's Servers for Troubleshooting
Connectivity issues are usually related to your origin server. It is unlikely that connectivity issues are Yottaa-related. However, if you want to double check that the issue is not related to Yottaa's servers, you can locally bypass Yottaa's servers by changing your host file. To do this, you need your origin server's IP address.
To find your origin server's IP address:
- In your browser, navigate to https://apps.yottaa.com.
- Navigate to Site Settings > Domain & Origin Server.
-
In Origin Server Settings, under Origin, copy the CNAME.
-
Do one of the following:
-
If you are using a Mac, in the Terminal application, type dig <CNAME>.
The IP address appears in the terminal window.
-
If you are using a PC, in your browser, navigate to https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/ and enter your CNAME.
The IP address appears.
